Job summary

Comfort Homecare is seeking Health Care Assistants to join their team across Ireland. Roles demand a minimum QQI Level 5 Healthcare Support or Level 7 in Social Care, with at least 2 years’ experience and a valid driver's license. Fluency in English and EU citizenship are required.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of experience in a comparable health/social care role.
• Relevant healthcare qualification within Europe.
• Good command of the English language.
• EU citizen.
• Full Clean Driver’s License and access to a vehicle.
• QQI Level 5 Healthcare Support or QQI Level 7 qualification or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Provide high standards of emotional, social and personal care to clients.
• Adhere to Comfort Homecare policies.
• Accurate record-keeping and writing detailed reports.
• Continual training and upskilling applicable to the role.
• Implement the client's care plan and provide practical and emotional support.
• Travel to and from clients’ houses to provide personal care.
