Job summary

Be Independent Home Care Ltd seeks Home Care Assistants to deliver compassionate, client‑centred care in Trim and nearby areas. This is a full-time position for drivers who will provide essential home care services with support from a dedicated care manager and nurse leadership.

The role requires fluent English, having a car and full driving licence, plus at least one year of care experience or two QQI care modules. Join a Great Place to Work Certified team offering training and progression.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 QQI modules in Care Skills & Care of the Older Person or equivalent, or 1 year paid care experience.
• Cheerful, caring, positive and dependable.
• Have suitable references, permission to work and fluent English.
• Own car and full license.

Responsibilities

• Provide home care assistance to clients in Trim and surrounding areas.
• Work under supervision with care manager and nursing team.
• Complete full induction and ongoing training as part of the role.
• Maintain accurate records and report changes in client needs.
