Job summary

Right at Home Ireland is seeking Health Care Assistants to support clients across Dublin North in Raheny, with both full-time and part-time roles available. You will provide personal and practical care, help maintain independence, and contribute to a supportive, respectful home-care service.

This position requires QQI Level 5 modules, a Patient Moving & Handling certificate, and eligibility to work in Ireland. Driving licences and transport are desirable for community-based work.

Qualifications

• Eligibility to work in Ireland.
• Minimum of two QQI Level 5 modules: Care Skills; Care of the Older Person.
• Valid Patient Moving & Handling certificate (training available if required).
• International Police Clearance, where applicable.
• Full driving licence and access to own transport desirable due to community-based role.

Responsibilities

• Providing personal and practical care in accordance with individual care plans.
• Supporting client independence and social engagement.
• Assisting with daily living activities including personal care, meal preparation, and light household duties.
• Maintaining dignity, privacy, and respect at all times.
• Reporting concerns, incidents, or changes in condition to management in line with company procedures.
