Job summary

Comfort Keepers is seeking a Healthcare Assistant/Carer for Dooradoyle, Limerick, to provide compassionate in-home support to clients in their own homes across the local area.

The role involves personal care, meal preparation, light housekeeping, medication prompts, and accurate record-keeping, with travel between visits using your own vehicle and mileage reimbursement. Full-time or part-time positions are available, with training and progression opportunities.

Qualifications

• EU/EEA citizenship or unrestricted right to work in Ireland.
• Driving licence not required but beneficial.
• QQI Level 5 in Healthcare Support desirable.
• Motivation to support people to live independently and with dignity.

Responsibilities

• Delivering personal care including mobility, dressing and continence care with dignity.
• Assisting with meal preparation and light housekeeping.
• Providing medication prompts and keeping accurate records.
• Travel between client visits within your local area.
• Observe client wellbeing and escalate concerns to local management.
• Build a professional relationship with client and family.
• Maintain confidentiality and privacy at all times.
