Job summary
The Rehab Group in Mayo is seeking a Personal Assistant to provide Home Support/Personal Assistance to older persons and adults with disabilities. This part-time role works within a multi-disciplinary team to support clients to live with dignity in their own home and community across Mayo.

Qualifications
- A relevant FETAC Healthcare qualification or equivalent is desirable.
- On the job QQI Level 5 training provided.
- Experience of working with elderly persons and/or with physical and sensory disabilities.
- Experience in the provision of home based services.
Responsibilities
- Provide a Home Support service to older persons and adults with disabilities within a multi-disciplinary team.
- Assist clients with Activities of Daily Living (transfer, washing, toileting, feeding, etc.).
- Maintain basic knowledge of domiciliary care, hygiene, skin care and pressure areas.
