Job summary

Bluebird Care Ireland is seeking compassionate Health Care Assistants to join our team in Kerry and West Cork. Positions available in Tralee, Killarney, Kenmare, Listowel, Skibbereen, Clonakilty, Bantry, and Macroom.

We offer full-time and part-time hours with pay at €13.50 per hour (Mon-Sat) and €14.50 per hour on Sundays. Applicants should have QQI Level 5 in Care of the Older Person and a minimum of one year’s experience, plus a valid driving licence.

Qualifications

• QQI Level 5 modules in Care of the Older Person or equivalent experience.
• Minimum one year's experience caring for others and willingness to complete required modules.
• Full, clean driving licence and access to own transport.
• Must be eligible to work in the Republic of Ireland.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with daily activities and personal care in their own homes.
• Follow the requirements of each client's care plan.
• Promote client comfort, dignity, and wellbeing.
• Provide a high standard of care in compliance with Bluebird Care policies.
• Pay due care and attention to all aspects of care duties carried out on behalf of the client.
• Report and record any incidents.
• Adhere to Health and Safety regulations.
