Job summary

Bluebird Care Ireland is hiring compassionate Health Care Assistants to join our team in Cork City and Suburbs. Full-time and part-time roles are available with flexible hours and supportive training.

You will assist clients with Activities of Living and personal care in their own homes, following each care plan, and promoting comfort and wellbeing. QQI Level 5 in Care of the Older Person and Care Skills or Healthcare Support is preferred, with at least one year of care experience.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in caring for others is preferred.
• Ability to work with intellectual disabilities or elderly.
• Willingness to complete required modules.
• Must have full, clean driving licence.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with Activities of Living and personal care in their own homes.
• Follow the requirements of each client's care plan.
• Promote client comfort, dignity, and wellbeing.
• Provide a high standard of care in compliance with Bluebird Care policies.
• Pay due care and attention to all aspects of care duties carried out on behalf of the client.
