Job summary

NMJ HAULAGE & ROAD SWEEPING SERVICES LIMITED is seeking an experienced HGV Mechanic to join our maintenance team in Ireland. The role involves diagnosing, troubleshooting, maintaining and repairing mechanical and electrical faults across a fleet of road sweepers and other heavy vehicles.

Qualifications

• Minimum of three years’ experience working on heavy goods vehicles.
• Recognised trade certificate or relevant mechanical qualification.
• Good written and spoken English.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, troubleshoot, maintain and repair mechanical and electrical faults on a fleet of commercial vehicles.
• Carry out routine servicing and preventative maintenance; perform necessary repairs.
• Prepare vehicles for annual DOE roadworthiness tests.
