National Vehicle Distribution is seeking a proactive Parts Manager to lead the parts team in its Dublin area operations. You will mentor staff, optimise the parts supply chain, and collaborate with workshop and logistics to ensure seamless material flow.

The role requires strong administration, vehicle parts knowledge, and a results-driven mindset to support workshop needs and cost control. Excellent organisational skills are essential.

Responsabilités

• Team Leadership & Development: Lead, mentor, and manage the parts team, including performance reviews, scheduling, and training to ensure high departmental standards.
• Strategic Parts Operations: Provide an efficient service to the workshop technical staff by accurately identifying commercial vehicle parts using parts IT systems, and oversee the entire parts supply chain to meet workshop demands.
• Inventory & Stock Management: Strategically order, organise, and maintain optimal parts stock levels. Establish and enforce policies for inventory accuracy, including conducting and overseeing daily stock control checks.
• Budget & Financial Oversight: Manage the parts department budget, track expenses, and identify opportunities for cost savings and revenue generation through parts sales.
• Facility Management: Oversee and maintain department housekeeping duties, ensuring a safe, clean, and organised working environment compliant with NVD policies.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Act as the primary liaison between the parts team and the separate warehouse & logistics team to ensure seamless operations and material flow.

Requirements

• Workshop & Driver Relations: Oversee and coordinate the handling of walk-in driver queries at the workshop for ancillary items/PPE, ensuring exceptional service.
• Process Improvement & Reporting: Prepare ad-hoc reports on inventory, performance, and projects as needed. Proactively identify and implement areas for continuous improvement for parts processes based on data, experience, and driver feedback.
• Coordination & Compliance: Coordinate and consolidate NVD related material. Ensure all parts operations are working in accordance with the policies and procedures of NVD and relevant regulatory standards.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Act as the primary liaison between the parts team and the separate warehouse & logistics team to ensure seamless operations and material flow.
