Job summary

EIRHAUL LIMITED is seeking experienced HGV mechanics to join our maintenance team at our Wexford facility. You will diagnose, service, maintain and repair heavy goods vehicles, ensuring readiness for annual DOE roadworthiness tests. A recognised trade certificate and at least three years of HGV experience are required, along with fluent written and spoken English.

Work is based in Wexford. The role requires independent work as well as strong teamwork, with strict adherence to health and safety

Responsibilities

Job Description

Eirhaul Limited is currently recruiting experienced HGV Mechanics to join our maintenance team. Company Address: 1 Dair Ard Bohreen Hill Wexford Y21 WF97. The successful candidates will be responsible for diagnosing, troubleshooting, maintaining and repairing mechanical and electrical faults on a fleet of commercial trucks. The role includes carrying out routine servicing, preventative maintenance, and necessary repairs, as well as preparing vehicles for annual DOE roadworthiness tests. The ideal candidate must hold a recognised trade certificate or relevant mechanical qualification and have a minimum of three years’ experience working on heavy goods vehicles. A good level of written and spoken English is required for thus role. Candidates must be capable of working both independently and as part of a team, maintain accurate records of all work completed, and adhere strictly to company health and safety policies and procedures at all times. Salary range: €36,605 - €44,000 per annum based on working a 39 hour week.
