Job summary

EIRHAUL LIMITED is seeking experienced HGV mechanics to join our maintenance team at our Wexford facility. You will diagnose, service, maintain and repair heavy goods vehicles, ensuring readiness for annual DOE roadworthiness tests. A recognised trade certificate and at least three years of HGV experience are required, along with fluent written and spoken English.

Work is based in Wexford. The role requires independent work as well as strong teamwork, with strict adherence to health and safety

Qualifications

• Minimum three years of experience working on heavy goods vehicles.
• Recognised trade certificate or relevant mechanical qualification.
• Good level of written and spoken English is required for this role.
• Capable of working independently and as part of a team; adhere to health and safety policies.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical and electrical faults on a fleet of heavy goods vehicles.
• Carry out servicing, preventative maintenance and necessary repairs.
• Prepare vehicles for annual DOE roadworthiness tests.
• Maintain accurate records of all work performed and collaborate with the maintenance team.
