NVD, a long-established vehicle distribution specialist, seeks a reliable mechanic for full-time shifts from 06:00 to 18:30, three days on, followed by days off. The role involves planned and corrective maintenance, CVRT prep, and diagnostic fault work in a hands-on team environment.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 3 or equivalent qualification.
• HGV or Plant mechanical maintenance experience.
• Full driving licence.
• Excellent communication and team working skills.
• Experience with Mercedes, Renault & Scania is desirable.
• Experience with hydraulic systems preferred.

Responsibilities

• Carry out general mechanical planned and corrective maintenance.
• Prepare vehicles for CVRT.
• Carry out diagnostic fault identification and rectification repair.
• Assist with apprenticeship training.
