Job summary

N3 CVRT Limited in Dublin is seeking an experienced HGV Mechanic to inspect, service and repair heavy vehicles and trailers, ensuring CVRT readiness and roadworthiness. You will diagnose mechanical, electrical and hydraulic faults, perform preventative maintenance and document all work meticulously.

The ideal candidate holds a recognised HCV qualification or apprenticeship, with strong diesel engine and air-brake knowledge, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.

Qualifications

• Recognised HCV mechanical qualification or apprenticeship.
• Strong knowledge of diesel engines and air-brake systems.
• Vehicle diagnostics and commercial vehicle compliance.
• Attention to detail, problem-solving, and safe working practices.

Responsibilities

• Prepare vehicles and trailers for CVRT testing.
• Conduct safety inspections and routine servicing.
• Diagnose mechanical, electrical, hydraulic and pneumatic faults.
• Respond to breakdowns and perform timely repairs.
• Maintain accurate service and maintenance records.
