Job summary

Temple Recruitment is representing Ireland's leading public transport provider in Cork, seeking a qualified Heavy Vehicle Mechanic. A QQI Level 6 Advanced Certificate Craft - Construction Plant Fitting or demonstrable heavy vehicle experience is required.

This permanent role offers €41,000–€54,000 per year, plus pension, workwear and PPE. You will work in well-equipped garages and receive comprehensive training to service Zero Emission, FCEV, hybrid and electric buses and coaches.

Qualifications

• Qualified Heavy Vehicle Mechanic or Construction Plant Fitting qualification, or demonstrable experience on heavy vehicles (bus/coach/trucks).
• Willing to work in Cork, Ireland and in a dynamic public transport environment.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and repair heavy vehicles including buses and coaches.
• Work on Zero Emission, FCEV, hybrid and electric vehicles with training provided.
• Operate in well-equipped garages with PPE and tool allowances.

We can only consider candidates with Heavy Vehicle Mechanic, orConstruction Plant Fitting qualification or candidates with demonstrable experience working on Heavy Vehicles (Bus, Coach or Trucks but preferably Bus and Coach).
