Job summary

• CVRT preparation: inspect and service vehicles to meet regulatory standards.
• Attend to roadside breakdowns or accidents, perform repairs or arrange recovery off-site.
• Maintain accurate records of inspections, repairs, and parts used; follow Health and Safety protocols.
• Work within the mining and quarrying sector.

Job Description

• Duties include conducting computer-based diagnostic testing to identify and repair mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic faults on engines, transmissions, and braking systems.
• Routine Maintenance: Perform routine servicing and regular preventative maintenance inspections (such as 12-week inspections) in line with manufacturer specifications.
• CVRT Preparation: Inspect and service vehicles to ensure they meet the regulatory standards.
• Roadside Assistance: Attend to broken-down or accident-damaged commercial vehicles off-site to either perform immediate repairs or arrange recovery.
• Compliance & Admin: Maintain accurate records of all inspections, repairs, and parts used. Adhere strictly to Health and Safety protocols.
