Job summary

PathwayRecruit Ltd is hiring a Vehicle Technician on behalf of Padraig Cawley Commercials Ltd, Drinaghan, Knocknarea, Co. Sligo, F91 FK27.

You will perform mechanical repairs, servicing and fault finding on commercial vehicles, carry out inspections and diagnostics, and complete repairs to high standards within timelines. Essential criteria include being a qualified HGV mechanic, with previous vehicle technician experience, a good workmanship standard, a positive attitude, and a full driving

• Qualified as an HGV mechanic (essential).
• Previous vehicle technician experience in automotive industry.
• High standard of workmanship and ability to work efficiently.
• Good attitude and time-conscious.
• Full valid driving licence.

Responsibilities

• Mechanical repairs, servicing and fault finding on Commercial Vehicle.
• Carry out vehicle inspections and diagnostic fault finding with mechanical servicing and repairs.
• Complete repairs to a high standard within timelines per manufacturer procedures.
• Follow warranty procedures and ensure paperwork is complete.
• Liaise with Workshop Manager on vehicle progress and defects.
• Ensure job cards and paperwork are completed accurately.
• Maintain a clean and safe workshop environment according to health and safety practices.

• A full valid driving licence.
