Job summary

Sam Dennigan & Co. uc, a leading Fresh Produce and Distribution company in North County Dublin, seeks a qualified HGV Mechanic for our Transport Dept. The ideal candidate will hold a National Craft Certificate with at least 3 years of experience, skilled in HGV repairs, inspections and maintenance, and proficient with diagnostic equipment.

The position is a full-time, dayshift role based on-site in Dublin, with benefits and opportunities for progression. Immediate start for suitable candidates.

Qualifications

• National Craft Certificate required.
• Minimum 3 years’ experience in HGV mechanics.
• Experience with HGV repairs, inspections and maintenance.
• Knowledge of diagnostic equipment essential.
• Trailer maintenance and tail-lift repair experience beneficial.
• Good communication in English and team work.

Responsibilities

• Perform repairs, inspections and servicing of HGVs to high standards.
• Liaise with management on required repairs and priorities.
• Complete all required paperwork to company standards.
• Maintain knowledge of diagnostic equipment and repair procedures.

Sam Dennigan & Co. uc, one of Ireland’s leading Fresh Produce and Distribution Company based in North Co. Dublin require Qualified HGV Mechanic for our Transport Dept.

The Ideal candidate will have:

• National Craft Certificate
• Minimum of 3 years’ experience
• Competent in all areas of HGV repairs, inspections and maintenance
• Knowledge of diagnostic equipment essential
• Trailer maintenance and tail-lift repair.
• Ensuring that all repairs, inspections and servicing is to the highest standard.
• Take instructions from and liaise with the management over required repairs.
• Complete all paperwork required to the standards set by the company.
• Good communication skills, and fluency in both written and spoken English.
• Flexible and works well within a team and on their own.

Terms & Conditions:

• This is a full-time permanent dayshift position (40 Hours per week)
• Monday to Friday plus one half day Saturday per month
• No out of hours breakdown call outs.
