Job summary

Diageo's Guinness Archive in Dublin is seeking an Archivist to preserve and make accessible Ireland's heritage of Guinness and brand stories. You will catalogue collections to international standards, support digital archives, deliver heritage inductions, and collaborate across the business to broaden access.

A qualification in Archives and Records Management, strong IT skills and experience with archive systems are preferred.

Qualifications

Qualification in Archives and Records Management (or working towards one).
Experience in an archive, museum, heritage or visitor-facing environment.
Excellent organisational skills with attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities.
Strong communication and presentation skills, with the confidence to engage a range of audiences.
Collaborative IT skills and experience using digital collections or archive management systems.
Experience with Axiell Collections or similar archive management software would be advantageous.

Responsibilities

Catalogue and preserve archive collections to recognised international archival standards.
Support the management and preservation of digital archive collections and digitisation projects.
Deliver engaging heritage inductions and presentations for employees, agencies and visitors.
Provide archive expertise and support to internal stakeholders to access historical materials.
Collaborate across the business to increase access to collections and support heritage projects.
