Job summary

Diageo's Guinness Archive in Dublin is seeking an Archivist to preserve and provide access to one of Ireland's most important brand collections. You will catalogue, preserve, and support digitisation projects while engaging colleagues and visitors.

The role combines archival practice with storytelling and customer engagement, requiring qualification in Archives and Records Management, experience in archive/museum environments, and strong IT and presentation skills.

Qualifications

• A qualification in Archives and Records Management or currently pursuing one.
• Experience in an archive, museum, heritage or visitor-facing environment.
• Excellent organisational skills with attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Strong communication and presentation skills with confidence engaging diverse audiences.
• IT-savvy with experience using digital collections or archive management systems.

Responsibilities

• Catalogue and preserve archive collections to international standards.
• Support digital archive management and ongoing digitisation projects.
• Deliver engaging heritage inductions and presentations for employees, agencies and visitors.
• Provide archive expertise to internal stakeholders accessing historical materials.
• Collaborate across the business to increase access to collections and support heritage projects.
