A leading construction firm is seeking a Mechanical Construction Manager to oversee client communications and manage heavy workload on data centre projects in Helsinki, Finland. The candidate should possess a relevant Mechanical Qualification, with experience in a similar role being desirable. Responsibilities include preparing risk assessments, managing project schedules, ensuring compliance with safety regulations, and maintaining high-quality work standards. Qualifications
Relevant Mechanical Qualification essential (B. Eng Degree, City & Guilds, HNC/BTEC or NVQ).
Previous experience in a similar role in a Mechanical and Electrical contracting environment is desirable.
Data Centre experience is advantageous.
Responsibilities
Manage relevant client communications.
Prepare method statements and risk assessments for construction activities.
Communicate with project team to sequence installation of pipework.
Assess and manage the project commercially.
Assist with documenting changes to work scopes and preparing monthly valuations.
Management of Project Schedule two weeks look ahead.
Ensure labour requirements are met.
Ensure quality of works is maintained.
Notify Project Management of variations and delays.
Ensure materials are as per specifications and stored securely.
