Job summary

Air Liquide Healthcare Ireland seeks a Healthcare Technician to install medical devices in patients' homes and hospitals, and to train patients on device use under medical prescriptions.

You will travel to patient sites, provide feedback to prescribers, and ensure patient and prescriber satisfaction throughout treatment, while handling materiovigilance incidents as required.

Qualifications

• Must be able to drive a long wheelbase van and travel to patient sites.
• Willingness to work on a roster for on-call duties.

Responsibilities

• Install Medical Devices in patients' homes and hospitals in line with medical prescriptions and local regulations.
• Provide training to patients on device use and operation.
• Provide feedback to prescribers on patient autonomy, follow-up and treatment adherence.
• Ensure patient and prescriber satisfaction during follow-up.
• Trace incidents related to materiovigilance.

Air Liquide Healthcare Ireland has over 30 years experience and specialises in treating and monitoring respiratory diseases in the patient's home supporting multiple therapies:

• Home Oxygen
• Nebulisers
• Ventilations
• Sleep

We currently provide such therapies to over 10,000 patients across Ireland (combined private and public healthcare). Our field based operations team consist of Healthcare Technicians and Patient Care & Sales Specialists, who ensure that our patients receive the support that they need whilst using our equipment. From installation, training on how to use equipment, servicing and removal.

How will you CONTRIBUTE and GROW?

• Provide patients at home a suite of services (including Medical Device installation, training/coaching according to the patient's needs), to support them with their chronic diseases within the framework of the medical prescription as well as local regulations.
• Install Medical Devices in patients' homes and in hospitals according to the local regulations, the medical prescription and the expectations of the prescriber
• Train the patient in the use of his equipment according to the local regulations
• Provide feedback to the prescriber on the patient's autonomy, follow-up, and compliance with their treatment
• Ensure the satisfaction of patients and prescribers as part of the follow-up of their treatment.
• Trace incidents relating to materiovigilance
