Job summary

Boots Ireland is hiring a Category Assistant for the Healthcare team in Dublin. This fast-paced, cross-functional role supports the Category Manager in delivering the Healthcare category priorities, coordinating with the wider trading team, and ensuring a great customer journey in-store.

You will manage multiple sub-categories, use Excel to collate data, and build strong relationships with suppliers and Boots UK counterparts.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a category assistant within a trading function.
• Strong organisational skills managing multiple Healthcare brands and sub-categories.
• Experience using MS Excel to collate data and present insights.
• Exceptional communication skills for cross-functional work and store support.
• Passion for Healthcare and building a career in buying.

Responsibilities

• Support the Category Manager with delivery of Healthcare category plans and budget.
• Assist with supplier setup and product information management.
• Contribute to monthly sales and promotional planning for Healthcare.
• Support stores with accurate, timely information and UTC alignment.
• Attend supplier meetings and liaise with Boots UK counterparts.
• Identify opportunities locally in Ireland and assist with NPD.
