Job summary

3Q Recruitment requires Healthcare Assistants to support individuals with intellectual disabilities across services in Dublin. You will provide person-centred daily living and personal care, helping individuals maintain independence in a safe environment.

The role offers a structured week with a fixed-term contract that could become permanent, across multiple Dublin service locations. Salary ranges from €32,000 to €38,000 depending on experience and qualifications.

Qualifications

• QQI Level 5 qualification or an equivalent recognised qualification.
• Previous experience in disability, healthcare or care settings.
• Ability to work 12-hour shifts.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Manual Handling and First Aid certification that is currently valid, or willingness to update.

Responsibilities

• Support individuals with personal care and daily living activities.
• Encourage independence, choice and active participation.
• Assist with community activities, appointments and social engagement.
• Follow individual care plans and behavioural support guidelines.
• Build respectful and professional relationships with service users.
• Promote dignity, inclusion, safety and wellbeing.
• Observe and report changes in an individual’s needs or wellbeing.
• Maintain accurate records in line with service requirements.
• Work collaboratively with colleagues and other support professionals.
• Follow all relevant health, safety and care procedures.
