Job summary

Dovida in Ireland's home care network is seeking caring, reliable carers to support clients at home. You will help older adults and people with disabilities stay safe, comfortable and independent in their own homes.

You will provide companionship, light housekeeping, personal care, and accompany clients to appointments. We offer flexible schedules, training, mileage allowance, and 24/7 local support to help you grow and feel valued.

Qualifications

• Kind, caring and dependable.
• Good communicator with empathy.
• Physically able for the role.
• Full driving licence and QQI qualification preferred.
• Experience in care is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Provide companionship and day-to-day support.
• Light housekeeping and meal prep.

About the role

At Dovida, you’re not “just a carer”, you are the reason people can stay safe, independent, and happy in their own homes.

You will support older adults and people with disabilities to live safely, comfortably, and independently at home. Your day may include:

• Meaningful companionship and conversation
• Light housekeeping and meal preparation
• Providing personal care (bathing, dressing, hygiene)
• Running errands or accompanying clients to appointments
