Job summary

Glenlorn Healthcare Recruitment is seeking dedicated Health Care Assistants to join our team in Ireland. You will deliver high-quality care to residents in nursing homes and healthcare facilities, assisting with daily personal care and mobility.

QQI Level 5 in Healthcare Support is required (two modules including Care Skills and Care of the Elderly). Strong communication, compassion, and teamwork are essential; prior healthcare experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• QQI Level 5 in Healthcare Support completed (minimum 2 modules including Care Skills and Care of the Elderly).
• Previous healthcare experience is an advantage but not required.
• Strong communication and compassionate approach.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with daily personal care (bathing, dressing, feeding).
• Support mobility and transfers using hoists or aids.
• Observe and report changes in residents' conditions.
• Provide companionship and emotional support.
• Assist nurses with care duties.
• Ensure a clean and safe environment.
