GPC - Global Professional Consultants seeks an experienced Health & Safety Manager for a major Data Centre project in Amsterdam, The Netherlands. You will report to the EHS Lead and Project Director, ensuring compliance with safety systems and statutory requirements.

The candidate should have 6+ years in a similar role, hold a relevant H&S qualification, and excel in building relationships with internal and external stakeholders.

Qualifications

• 6+ years experience in a similar role.
• A relevant Health & Safety qualification.
• Team player and able to build and maintain relationships with internal and external clients.
• Flexible to change and open to constructive feedback.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong organisational and interpersonal skills.
• IT Skills Microsoft Office and Adobe Acrobat Pro.

• Coordinate and manage task-specific Method Statements, Risk Assessments, permits, and safety interventions.
• Maintain good safety practices through regular site audits, C.O.S.H.H assessments, and hazardous substance control.
• Oversee staff induction, training, and ensure subcontractors adhere to EHS policies.
• Manage project PPE, welfare, and hygiene facilities, ensuring they meet requirements.
• Assist with accident investigations and keep the Safety File documentation up to date.
• Participate in daily briefings and maintain waste reduction and recycling programs according to project policies.

Health & Safety Manager required to work for one of Europe's leading Tier 1 Main Contractors on a large Data Centre project in Amsterdam, The Netherlands. The successful candidate will report to the EHS Lead and the Project Director.
