Job summary

Sigmar Recruitment is partnering with a well-established Mechanical & Electrical services company to recruit a Health & Safety Manager. You will lead, develop, and embed a proactive safety culture across the business, focusing on compliance with Irish legislation, RAMS, and client requirements.

The role covers safety management, site inspections, training, and continuous improvement, supporting engineers on site and with prequalification documentation.

Qualifications

• Proven Health & Safety experience in M&E, construction or maintenance.
• Strong knowledge of Irish H&S legislation.
• Experience dealing with clients & external stakeholders.
• Structured, organized, and methodical approach.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and maintain the Health & Safety Management System across the business.
• Ensure compliance with Irish H&S legislation, regulations, and codes of practice.
• Create and maintain RAMS, policies, procedures, and records.
• Carry out site inspections, risk assessments, and toolbox talks.
• Support engineers on site with safe systems of work and training.
• Drive continuous improvement and report H&S performance to management.
