Job summary

Laya Healthcare is seeking a proactive Health & Safety Coordinator to join our People & Culture team on a 12-month fixed term contract. You will maintain and improve safety management systems, ensure compliance with Irish regulations and drive the governance, reporting, training and compliance activities across the organisation.

You will play a key role in promoting a safe workplace, collaborating with stakeholders and delivering health & safety training, reports and improvement actions

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years' experience in a Health & Safety role in an office environment.
• Experience supporting risk assessments, incident reporting and audits.
• Strong organisational and stakeholder management skills.
• Proficiency in MS Office and safety reporting tools.

Responsibilities

• Maintain Safety Statement, risk assessments, policies, and procedures.
• Conduct compliance reviews and track corrective actions.
• Chair Health & Safety Committee meetings and support reps.
• Manage fire safety arrangements and emergency planning.
• Deliver health and safety inductions and awareness programs.
• Oversee incident reporting, investigations and actions.
• Produce monthly Health & Safety reports with KPIs.
