Job summary

Sigmar Recruitment is seeking a Health & Safety Advisor for a Dublin 12, office-based role with occasional travel to sites. You will ensure compliance with construction regulations, conduct site audits, investigate accidents, develop behavioural safety policies, manage safety documentation, and support tender processes.

The ideal candidate has 3+ years in health and safety within manufacturing or construction, a Level 7+ Health & Safety qualification, and excellent communication and leadership

Qualifications

• 3+ years' health and safety experience in manufacturing, construction, or similar environments.
• Level 7+ Health & Safety qualification.
• Knowledge of Irish & UK construction and Fit-out safety legislation.
• Excellent communication, leadership, and influencing skills.
• Ability to work in fast-paced environments.
• Full driving licence with regular travel.

Responsibilities

• Ensure compliance with construction regulations and relevant legislation.
• Conduct site audits and inspections for safety adherence.
• Investigate accidents, perform root cause analysis, and reduce accident statistics.
• Develop and implement behavioural safety policies and training.
• Manage safety documentation and review Safe Work Plans (SWPs).
• Support tender processes and submit Health & Safety documentation.
• Coordinate safety training, workshops, and briefings.
• Liaise with HSA Executives and Statutory Bodies.
• Integrate health and safety considerations in project planning.
