Job summary

Health & Safety Advisor required for Dublin with a leading Irish building contractor. The role involves delivering H&S duties on designated projects to comply with legislation and company policies, working solo or as part of a team under a Senior H&S Advisor.

Responsibilities include driving safety culture, monitoring site activities, preparing RAMS and H&S plans, coordinating third-party training, and supporting incident investigations across multi-million-euro projects in Ireland.

Responsibilities

• Provide direction, support and assistance to all project personnel to enable them to manage their health and safety duties and responsibilities.
• Ensuring Project compliance to all applicable Health & Safety Legislation and promoting continual improvement of the H&S culture in the company.
• Monitor Site Activities to ensure that construction operations and subcontractors are complying with safety requirements and controls.
• Undertake Health & Safety Inspections of the project site and follow through with the responsible persons to close out in a timely manner.
• Assist in the preparation & review of project H&S documents, RAMS, H&S Plans, Lift Plans, etc., including those of 3rd parties.
• Maintain records and data collection using H&S system software as necessary to ensure compliance with Legislation, Company Procedures and requirements.
• Arrange for third party H&S Training for Project Teams where necessary in consultation with their Regional H&S Advisor and carry out internal training/briefings where appropriate.
• Lead and participate in accident/incident investigations in accordance with the

• Collate Project H&S statistics and reports in a timely manner and submit to the Line Manager as required for reporting purposes.

Our Client is one of Ireland's leading Building Contractors, with operations throughout Ireland and the UK. They are currently recruiting for a Health & Safety Advisor to join our award-winning team in Dublin.

About this role

This is a fantastic opportunity to join a prestigious main contractor and work with like-minded people on exciting multi-million-euro projects. This role is to undertake all H&S duties as required on designated project/s so that they comply with Safety Legislation and Company Policies and procedures. The role may be as the sole Health & Safety Advisor on a project or as part of team of Health & Safety Advisors on site lead by a Senior Health & Safety Advisor or as a Health & Safety Advisor on multiple smaller projects liaising with Site Management to ensure all Health & Safety Matters pertaining to the projects are undertaken.
