Job summary

Global Professional Consultants seeks an experienced Health & Safety Advisor to support a major residential development in Goatstown, South Dublin. The role focuses on leading EHS on apartments projects, delivering inductions, audits and training, and maintaining RAMS and site plans on a long-term basis.

The ideal candidate has 3+ years in construction EHS, holds a Diploma in OH&S and a Certificate in Environmental Management, with IOSH membership preferred.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of EHS experience in construction, preferably apartments projects.
• Demonstrated ability to lead audits, inspections and incident investigations.
• Strong communication and leadership skills for site inductions and training.

Responsibilities

• Provide EHS guidance to management, supervisors, workers and subcontractors on housing and apartment projects.
• Lead audits, inspections, risk assessments and incident investigations.
• Deliver site inductions, toolbox talks and EHS training sessions.

Health & Safety Advisor (Apartments)

We are currently recruiting for an experienced Health & Safety Advisor to join a leading main contractor on a major residential development comprising over 200 apartments in Goatstown, South Dublin. This is a long-term opportunity, with an initial 2-year project and a strong pipeline of future projects across South Dublin, offering excellent continuity of work and career progression.

Responsibilities:

• Provide EHS guidance to management, supervisors, workers, and subcontractors on housing and apartment projects.
• Lead audits, inspections, risk assessments, and incident investigations.
• Deliver site inductions, toolbox talks, and EHS training sessions.
• Maintain site-specific EHS plans, RAMS, and documentation.
• Monitor compliance, report on KPIs, and drive safety and environmental improvements.

Requirements:

• 3+ years’ EHS experience in construction, preferably previous experience on apartments projects.
• Diploma in Occupational Health & Safety plus Certificate in Environmental Management.
• Experience with ISO 14001 & ISO 45001 auditing.
• Strong knowledge of construction regulations, CDM, and subcontractor management.
• Excellent communication, leadership, and reporting skills.
• IOSH membership (or equivalent professional body).
