Job summary

Bluebird Care Ireland is seeking compassionate Health Care Assistants to join our team in Cork City and surrounding suburbs. The role involves assisting clients with activities of living and personal care in clients' homes, following individual care plans and upholding dignity and wellbeing.

We offer a 39-hour week, the option of full-time or part-time hours, paid mileage, a car for calls, training, and an employee assistance program to support staff wellbeing.

Qualifications

• QQI Level 5 modules in Care of the Older Person and Care Skills / Healthcare Support.
• Minimum one year's experience caring for others.
• Full, clean driving licence is essential.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with Activities of Living and personal care in their own homes
• Follow the requirements of each client's care plan
• Promote client comfort, dignity, and wellbeing
• Provide a high standard of care in compliance with Bluebird Care policies
• Pay due care and attention to all aspects of care duties carried out on behalf of the client
