Job summary

Stepping Stones Care Ltd in Ireland is recruiting a Health Care Assistant to support a person with intellectual disability and/or autism in a residential setting. The role is full-time, 40 hours per week, located in Co. Meath, with a salary of €33,529.60 per year.

The ideal candidate will hold QQI Level 5 in Healthcare, have experience in HIQA-regulated environments, and possess excellent organisational and communication skills, along with a valid driving licence.

Qualifications

• QQI Level 5 in Healthcare.
• Experience supporting children/adults with intellectual disabilities and/or autism.
• Experience working in a HIQA-regulated environment.
• Excellent organisational and communication skills.
• Strong knowledge of HIQA Standards.
• Full clean driving licence.

Responsibilities

• Support the team in ensuring the service complies with HIQA regulations.
• Maintain professional knowledge to carry out duties.
• Ensure record-keeping complies with legislation and HIQA requirements.
• Work directly with individuals and complete administrative tasks.

Pay: €33,529.60 per year (€16.12 hourly)

Hours: 40 hours per week

About the Role

Duties

• Support the team in ensuring the service complies with applicable HIQA regulations

• Work directly with individuals and complete administrative tasks related to the day-to-day running of the house
• Demonstrate strong organisational, report-writing, IT, and time-management skills
• Remain flexible and open to change
