Job summary

Access Healthcare is seeking Healthcare Assistants to join our care team in Moycullen and the Galway area. This flexible, ad-hoc role offers shifts across days and nights, with compassionate, reliable individuals making a real difference.

You’ll earn €15–€20 per hour depending on experience, with Sunday and night premiums, weekly pay, free registration and uniform, and dedicated support from a consultant to fit your lifestyle.

Qualifications

• FETAC Level 5 (or equivalent) including Care Skills and Care of the Elderly.
• Minimum 2 months’ experience in an Irish healthcare setting.
• Up-to-date vaccinations or willingness to obtain.
• Current mandatory and practical training (or willingness to complete).
• Eligibility to work in Ireland and ability to travel within Moycullen and the surrounding Galway area.

Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, reliable patient care in nursing homes and healthcare settings.
• Support day-to-day activities and personal care for residents.
• Be flexible with ad-hoc shifts including days and nights.
• Maintain up-to-date vaccinations and ongoing training as required.
