The Role:

  • Take primary ownership of environmental compliance, ensuring the site meets all relevant Irish legislation and regulatory requirements.

  • Manage compliance with EPA Industrial Emissions / IPC licences, including monitoring and reporting requirements.

  • Oversee environmental monitoring across areas including air emissions, effluent, groundwater, noise and waste.

  • Prepare and submit statutory environmental reports, including AER, PRTR, ELRA and CRAMP.

  • Liaise with regulatory bodies, including the EPA, Irish Water and Local Authorities, as well as external environmental consultants.

  • Ensure compliance with Irish Health & Safety legislation and maintain the site Safety Management System.

  • Conduct and oversee risk assessments, ATEX zoning reviews, PUWER assessments and Safe Systems of Work.

  • Lead accident and incident investigations and ensure corrective actions are implemented.

  • Oversee chemical safety, COSHH/SDS management and hazardous substance controls.

  • Own and maintain COMAH / Seveso III compliance, including safety reports and associated documentation.

  • Track and report EHS KPIs, including TRIR, near misses, audit performance and environmental metrics.

  • Lead internal and external audits, including ISO 14001 and ISO 45001.

About You:
