Global Professional Consultants, a Dublin-based recruitment consultancy with 24 years of experience in construction, seeks an experienced Health & Safety Advisor to join one of Ireland’s leading Civil Engineering Contractors working on civil and infrastructure projects in the Leinster region.

This hands-on, site-based role promotes a strong safety culture, coordinates with project teams, and ensures documentation and inspections are in place to deliver projects safely and on time.

Qualifikationen

• A minimum Diploma qualification in Occupational Health & Safety (or equivalent).
• 2–4 years’ experience in a similar role within civil engineering or construction.
• Strong knowledge of Irish Health & Safety legislation and construction safety requirements.
• Full clean driving licence and willingness to travel to project sites.

Aufgaben

• Work closely with Contracts Managers and Site Teams to promote a positive, proactive safety culture.
• Ensure Health & Safety Plans, Risk Assessments, Method Statements and other required documentation are in place and maintained.
• Conduct regular site inspections, safety audits and safety meetings, identifying risks and driving improvements.
• Monitor compliance with Health & Safety legislation, company procedures and project requirements.
• Investigate accidents, incidents, near misses and dangerous occurrences and ensure appropriate corrective actions are implemented.
• Proactively identify safety requirements based on upcoming works and project programmes.
