Job summary

Coyle Group is seeking a Health and Safety Advisor to support health and safety across a range of construction projects throughout Leinster, with sites in Dublin, Meath, Louth and surrounding areas.

This role suits a Health & Safety professional with 2–4 years of relevant experience who can work independently, apply a practical approach to site safety, and continue developing their career within a main contractor environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum Level 7 qualification in Health & Safety or related discipline.
• 2–4 years of Health & Safety Advisor experience.
• Experience in civil engineering, construction or main contractor environments preferred.
• Strong knowledge of Irish Health & Safety legislation and site safety practices.
• Must be able to travel between multiple sites with a valid driving licence.

Responsibilities

• Provide day-to-day health and safety support across multiple construction sites.
• Carry out regular site inspections, audits and safety observations.
• Monitor compliance with company policies and Irish Health & Safety legislation.
• Identify hazards and implement corrective actions.
• Assist with risk assessments and method statements.
• Support site management with health and safety advice.
• Assist with incident investigations and close-out actions.
• Deliver health and safety inductions and toolbox talks.
• Maintain accurate health and safety records and documentation.
• Promote a positive health and safety culture across sites.
• Keep up to date with legislation, standards and best practices.
• Collaborate with project teams to ensure safety requirements are maintained.

Requirements

• Minimum Level 7 qualification/diploma in Health & Safety or a related discipline.
• 2–4 years of experience in a Health & Safety Advisor or similar role.
• Experience within a civil engineering, construction or main contractor environment is preferred.
• Good working knowledge of Irish Health & Safety legislation and construction safety requirements.
• Ability to work independently and manage Health & Safety responsibilities across multiple sites.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the confidence to engage with site management, contractors and operatives.
• Practical, proactive and organised approach to Health & Safety.
• Full driving licence and willingness to travel between sites.
