Job summary

Aramark Ireland is seeking a Facilities Maintenance Technician to perform general building repairs and support ongoing facilities operations across the site in County Dublin. You will carry out routine maintenance to ensure safety, compliance, and high-quality standards.

You will handle minor repairs such as carpentry, painting, plumbing, and fixtures, inspect facilities, document defects in CAFM systems, and assist with planned preventive maintenance.

Qualifications

• Experience in facilities maintenance, construction, or building operations.
• Good general maintenance skills, including basic carpentry, painting, and plumbing.
• Knowledge of Health & Safety requirements and safe systems of work.
• Ability to work independently and manage workloads effectively.
• Competent in the use of hand and power tools.
• Good communication and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform minor building repairs, maintenance, and refurbishment works.
• Repair doors, locks, ceilings, walls, flooring, and fixtures.
• Carry out basic painting, plastering, carpentry, and plumbing tasks.
• Conduct routine inspections and report defects via CAFM systems.
• Assist with Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) activities.
• Escort contractors and support maintenance response activities.
• Maintain external areas, pathways, and site grounds.
• Support furniture moves, deliveries, stock control, and stores management.
• Complete maintenance records and update CAFM systems accurately.
• Ensure all work follows Health & Safety procedures.
