Job summary

Seccl Ireland is looking for a Head of Client Asset Oversight to lead the protection of client money and assets and to shape the internal controls framework for a growing European presence. This hybrid Dublin role includes collaboration with regulators, auditors and cross‑functional teams to ensure compliance and robust governance.

You will own CAR/CAMP policies, monitoring and reporting, partnering with UK asset specialists and the Ireland Board to scale capabilities as Seccl expands in Europe.

Qualifications

• Significant experience working with client asset regulation and oversight in a regulated financial services business.
• Ability to translate regulation into practical controls, policies and processes.
• Experience building or maintaining client asset governance, monitoring, assurance and regulatory reporting frameworks.
• Proven ability to build trusted relationships with regulators, auditors and senior leaders.
• Experience establishing or scaling a client asset framework in Ireland is useful.

Responsibilities

• Own Seccl Ireland’s client asset framework and ensure alignment with Central Bank of Ireland requirements.
• Maintain and evolve the Client Asset Management Plan and related documents.
• Build first-line controls, monitoring and assurance to safeguard client money and assets.
• Provide clear reporting on client asset compliance, risks and controls to senior leaders and board.
• Lead regulatory reporting and engagement with auditors and Central Bank of Ireland.
• Review breaches and near misses to identify root causes and improvements.
• Collaborate with operations, finance, product and engineering to embed client asset requirements.
