Job summary

Crusoe is seeking a Hardware Production / Sustaining Engineer to own the full hardware lifecycle—from prototype bring-up to large-scale production—driving automation, debugging, and reliability across Crusoe Cloud’s GPU- and CPU-based infrastructure.

You will collaborate with mechanical, thermal, firmware, software, and manufacturing teams to resolve system-level issues, enable stable production operations, and push for sustainable, energy-efficient hardware design in a fast-moving AI-first

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s in Electrical or Computer Engineering.
• Experience in hardware validation and sustaining engineering.
• Strong debugging skills across PCIe, InfiniBand, NVMe.
• Adept at building automation for hardware testing.

Responsibilities

• Own hardware lifecycle from prototype bring-up to production.
• Develop automation frameworks for hardware testing and reliability.
• Lead debugging across PCIe, InfiniBand, and NVMe.
• Perform rigorous system validation for GPU/CPU HPC platforms.
• Coordinate with mechanical, firmware, software and manufacturing teams.
• Plan prototyping and readiness for high-volume manufacturing.
• Identify new hardware technologies and sustainability improvements.
• Provide data-driven insights for roadmap and reliability.
