Job summary

Matrix Recruitment Group is seeking an experienced EHS Manager for a busy manufacturing site in Co. Laois. This hands-on role requires taking ownership of EHS and maintaining a strong presence on the production floor.

Responsibilities include managing site EHS systems, conducting risk assessments, audits and incident investigations, environmental reporting, and coordinating EHS training and contractor safety, while driving continuous improvement and a strong safety culture with Operations.

Qualifications

• Level 7 qualification in EHS or related discipline.
• 3-4+ years of EHS experience in manufacturing environments.
• Strong knowledge of Irish EHS legislation.
• Hands-on, independent worker with practical approach.

Responsibilities

• Manage site EHS systems and ensure legislative compliance.
• Conduct risk assessments, audits and incident investigations.
• Manage environmental compliance and reporting.
• Coordinate EHS training and contractor safety.
• Drive continuous improvement and a strong safety culture, working closely with Operations and remaining visible on the production floor.
