Job summary

The Salthill Hotel in Galway is seeking an Accommodation Supervisor to work with the Accommodation Manager to maintain high room standards for guests. You will supervise the Accommodation department, including rooms, bathrooms, corridors, public areas and toilets, ensuring a clean, fresh environment for guests.

The role requires 1–2 years of experience as an Accommodation Supervisor in a similar property, strong organisational and communication skills, and familiarity with Hotsoft or Alkimii is

Qualifications

• 1-2 years' experience as Accommodation Supervisor in a comparable property.
• Excellent organisation and communication skills.
• Previous experience using Hotsoft and Alkimii is a plus.

Responsibilities

• To report for duty on time and in the correct uniform.
• To supervise and check rooms ensuring high standards are being maintained at all times, in compliance with all relevant guidelines and recommendations.
• To carry out periodic duties such as spot cleaning when required.
• To carry out extra duties as notified to you each day.
• To carry out our Customer Relations policy.
• To communicate our services and facilities to guests as required.
• To deal with any customer complaints in a professional manner and to notify management of these.
• To ensure that the guests needs and requirements are met.
• To ensure a high standard of personal hygiene and grooming.
• To ensure that all reasonable care is taken for the health and safety of yourself, other employees, guests and other persons on the premises.
• To report and where possible take action on incidents of accidents or damage.
• To attend all training courses as notified to you by management.
• To perform other duties as assigned to you by management to meet business needs.
