Job summary

The Connemara Coast Hotel, part of the Windward Management group, invites applications for an Accommodation Assistant with midweek availability. You will sign out keys, maintain public areas, service stayover rooms, and manage linen transfers while following strict health and safety protocols.

We value attention to detail, punctuality, and a professional appearance. The role operates 5 days in a 7-day rotation, incl. weekends, with opportunities for career progression within Windward.

Qualifications

• High level of attention to detail required for daily tasks.
• Excellent timekeeping and strong organisational skills.
• Exceptional standards of personal grooming and presentation.
• Able to work both as part of a team and on own initiative.

Responsibilities

• Sign out keys and equipment at the start of each shift.
• Maintain public areas and restrooms following protocols and signage.
• Service stayover rooms and follow stayover protocols.
• Clean rooms after departures and follow departures protocol.
• Transfer linen to and from storage, following laundry procedures.
• Move and handle linen, furniture, or equipment safely.
• Organise trolley and supplies; check chemicals and PPE are available.
• Keep work areas clean; avoid obstructions in corridors.
• Communicate guest needs to supervisor and report feedback promptly.
• Return and sign back in keys at shift end; ensure keys stay on site.
