Harvey's Point Hotel is seeking a Receptionist/Reservations Agent to join its award-winning team in Donegal, Ireland. The role offers part-time (3 days) or full-time hours with responsibilities including guest check-in/check-out, handling reservations, and delivering exceptional service.

The successful candidate will have strong English communication skills, a personable demeanor, and the ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment, with rotating shifts including weekends.

Qualifications

• Good command of English in both verbal and written communication.
• Natural ability to sell the Harvey’s Point Experience.
• Confident with a pleasant disposition and well-groomed.
• Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
• Working on rotating shifts, including weekends.
• Experience in revenue management systems desirable.
• Knowledge of Hotsoft PMS an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Ensure an efficient reception experience for guests, including check-in/out and audit procedures.
• Manage phone reservations and answer customer queries.
• Provide excellent service, build relationships, and exceed guest expectations.
• Take ownership of guest issues and resolve them promptly.
• Carry out cash handling procedures per company policy.
• Undertake general office duties including emails and filing.
• Keep up to date with room prices and special offers to provide accurate information.
