Job summary

Ballygarry Estate Hotel & Spa in Tralee is seeking a Bartender to join our team. You will deliver professional service in our bars and lounges, mixing and serving beverages to guests while upholding high standards of hospitality.

Responsibilities include handling transactions, maintaining bar cleanliness, following recipes, and supporting events. Weekend and bank holiday availability is required; prior experience is beneficial but not essential.

Qualifications

• Fluent English required.
• Availability to work weekends & bank holidays.
• Experience not essential but advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Provide professional and engaging service at the hotel bars/lounge areas.
• Mix and serve a variety of beverages following standard recipes.
• Check identification to verify age and refuse service when necessary.
• Maintain bar area cleanliness and stock levels.
• Handle cash and card transactions and keep accurate records.
• Collaborate with hotel staff to ensure guest satisfaction.
• Attend training and stay updated on products and recipes.
• Adhere to responsible alcohol service guidelines.
• Ensure closing procedures and bar area are prepared for next shift.
• Support buffet service and event operations as required.
