Salthill Hotel in Galway is seeking a friendly and efficient Bartender to join our motivated team. Reporting to the Bar Manager, you will craft cocktails, manage garnishes, and ensure a clean, well-stocked bar area while delivering superb guest service.

The role requires 2+ years in a similar role, fluent English, and the ability to work evenings, weekends and holidays. You should have extensive knowledge of beers, cocktails and coffees and be enthusiastic, customer focused, and team oriented.

Qualifications

• 2+ years' experience in a similar role.
• Fluent English.
• Knowledge of beers, cocktails and coffees; ability to upsell.

Responsibilities

• Meeting and exceeding guests' expectations regarding cocktails and beverages.
• Preparation of drink garnishes and keeping garnish station stocked.
• Keep bar area clean and organised, maintaining sanitation standards.
• Co-operation and good communication with colleagues to maintain team morale.
• Craft original beverage menu items and innovative cocktails.
• Ensure accurate, knowledgeable service of cocktails and beverages to guests.
• Assist with bar deliveries and bar stores maintenance; bar back yard and bin areas.
• Ensure bar is prepared for set up before each shift and cleaning schedules are followed.
