Electricity Supply Board (ESB) in Dublin is seeking a Buyer to support procurement across the ESB Group for goods and services from €5k-€300k. You will drive value, ensure compliance, and uphold ethics while working in a hybrid environment with flexible in-office and remote arrangements.
The role requires at least 12 months of business experience, strong communication and MS Office proficiency, and a willingness to undertake a Procurement qualification.
Group Sourcing is operating in an exciting and dynamic environment which provides an excellent opportunity for the successful candidate to gain knowledge and expand their career in Procurement. The role of the Buyer is to assist clients across the ESB Group in procuring goods and services between €5k-€300k, achieving best value for money, while ensuring compliance with statutory regulations, internal procedures and the code of ethics for the governance of state bodies.
This position will be based in ESB Head Office, 27 Fitzwilliam Street, Dublin 2.
Smart Working at ESB is designed to make ’in-person’ time together as purposeful as possible while also enabling the effective use of digital tools and hybrid arrangements to preserve our commitment to flexibility. The successful candidate may work flexibly within the jurisdiction where they have been employed, with attendance at the workplace for in-person collaboration at least two days per week . All Smart Working arrangements are subject to regular review based on the operational requirements of the role, the team, and the business.
The role will report to one of the Group Sourcing Category Managers in ES Procurement
€33,500 - €40,200 per annum (depending on experience)
