Job summary

Darwin Hawkins is seeking an experienced Financial Controller to lead the Group's day-to-day financial operations across multiple jurisdictions. You will report to the Finance Director and drive financial reporting, governance and business partnering at senior levels.

The role offers hands-on leadership, exposure to international markets and opportunities to improve reporting processes and controls within a large privately held group.

Qualifications

• Qualified accountant with significant post-qualification experience.
• Experience in Financial Controller or senior finance leadership roles.
• Strong IFRS knowledge, statutory compliance and financial controls.
• Experience leading finance teams and stakeholder communication.

Responsibilities

• Lead monthly, quarterly and annual financial reporting including P&L and balance sheet.
• Oversee group consolidations and multi-jurisdictional reporting.
• Manage general ledger, AP, treasury and balance sheet reconciliations.
• Develop and maintain robust internal controls and compliance.
• Oversee cash flow management and working capital across jurisdictions.
• Support tax compliance and coordination of audits.
• Partner with Finance Director and senior stakeholders on insights.
