Job summary

TOM People are partnering with a multinational high growth company to appoint a Group Financial Accountant to join their finance team. This newly created role offers exposure to senior leadership and a broad remit across group reporting and consolidation.

Reporting to the Head of Finance, you will prepare monthly, quarterly and annual group financial statements, coordinate external audits, and help enhance financial controls. Hybrid work based in Wicklow, three days per week.

Qualifications

• Qualified accountant with 0–2 years PQE.
• Strong financial reporting and technical accounting experience.
• Advanced Excel and systems experience; multi-entity exposure advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Prepare monthly, quarterly and annual group financial reporting.
• Support the group consolidation process.
• Prepare statutory financial statements and coordinate external audits.
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulatory requirements.

TOM People are exclusively partnering with our a multinational high growth company to identify a Group Financial Accountant to join their finance team, in a newly created role to facilitate growth. This is an excellent opportunity for an early- stage ambitious accounting professional to take on a broad role within a dynamic and growing organisation. Role reports directly into the Head of Finance, with exposure to the senior leadership team.

ABOUT THE ROLE:

• Preparation of monthly, quarterly and annual group financial reporting
• Supporting the group consolidation process
• Preparation of statutory financial statements and coordination of external audits
• Ensuring compliance with relevant accounting standards and regulatory requirements
• Assisting with ongoing projects.
• Assisting with the enhancement of financial controls, processes and reporting capabilities
• Partnering with stakeholders across the business to provide financial insight and analysis
• Supporting strategic finance projects and continuous improvement initiatives

ABOUT THE PERSON:

• Qualified accountant with 0-2 years PQE
• Strong financial reporting and technical accounting experience
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving capabilities
• Strong communication skills with the ability to engage effectively with stakeholders
• Proactive, detail-oriented and capable of managing multiple priorities
• Advanced Excel skills and strong systems experience preferred
• Experience operating in a multi-entity or group reporting environment would be advantageous

Hybrid working based in Wicklow, 3 days per week.
