Job summary

Glenveagh Properties PLC is seeking a site supervisor to deliver groundworks on time and within budget on residential projects in Ireland. You will plan resources, manage site staff and subcontractors, and coordinate with design teams and project managers.

The role demands strong ownership, initiative, and knowledge of building regulations. You will ensure health and safety compliance, maintain records, and contribute to CPD and site improvements.

Qualifications

• Degree/Higher Diploma or equivalent.
• Residential developments experience is essential.
• Knowledge of building regulations and certification standards.
• Strong ownership and responsibility for tasks and projects.
• Attention to detail and methodical approach.
• Ability to lead, use initiative and be self-motivated.

Responsibilities

• Ensure groundworks are delivered on time and within budget.
• Plan resources in conjunction with the site programme.
• Manage site staff and subcontractors on site.
• Coordinate with design team and project manager.
• Oversee daily resourcing and materials ordering; look-aheads.
• Maintain online daily site diary and weekly documentation.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety and company policies.
• Provide training and technical advice to the site team.
• Report progress to site teams and stakeholders.

Education

Degree/Higher Diploma/HETAC qualification or relevant trade experience
